Ingredients

1 cup coconut milk

3 tablespoons cornstarch

Juice from a freshly squeezed lemon or 4 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Pour the coconut milk in a saucepan then add olive oil and whisk together. In another bow whisk the fresh lemon juice with cornstarch and get rid of all the lumps.

Add the cornstarch and lemon mixture to the coconut milk mixture. Over medium heat the sauce pan while whisking. The mixture will start to thicken with the help of the cornstarch. Mix until you achieve a consistency similar to a conditioner.

Cool the mixture and preferably store in the refrigerator for four hours. The mixture will be thick with a curd like layer.

Apply the mixture on to your hair in small sections so that the whole hair receives the treatment.

Put on a shower cap heat with a hood dryer. If you are not in a position to access a hood dryer do a hot towel treatment. Let the towel be on your head for about 30 minutes.

Shampoo the hair and then deep condition the hair. Sit under a dryer or put on large rollers and let the hair to dry.
