You have heard it a zillion times and you will hear it again here today. Vegetables, fruits and whole grains alongside lean meats are the best way to go, while sweets and processed foods are a no-no. Foods specifically to be avoided or consumed in moderation are as follows, as they are known to enhance pore blockages and lead to acne.

If food allergies are the cause of your acne then you will have to do some foot work to find out what it is. Food allergies causing acne are not going away until you eliminate the food causing the issue from your diet. However, do this gradually because sudden changes can cause your hormones to get unbalanced and in return you may have an outbreak.

Try cutting out junk foods and snacks and reducing meal portions on some while cutting others out altogether. Give your skin time to make the necessary adjustments before cutting anything else from the diet, and you may find that the answer to your clogged pore problem was right there on your plate the entire time.
