Still, brush after 15 minutes of the banana peel extract on your teeth, just so we are a step ahead of our primate cousins and all. Do this a few times a week, and your teeth will get whiter! Did you know that strawberries can actually help your teeth get whiter? They are definitely more than tasty treats. Smash them up and put them on your teeth for a few minutes a couple of times a week. After they have sat on the teeth rinse thoroughly and brush.
Lemon juice and lemon peels are also natural tooth whiteners. However, none of these should be used more than a couple of times a week because of the natural acids that they contain. With that being said, pineapples, carrots and oranges are also good for whiter teeth.
Now, tooth whitening toothpastes are plentiful and affordable as well. Many of these will contain baking soda, but if your toothpaste don’t contain baking soda add it yourself!
Make sure your diet is rich in vitamins and in calcium as well. Eat yogurt, cheese and drink a lot of milk. If you are going to drink coffee, soda or tea then use a straw. Make sure you are flossing and brushing 2 to 3 times a day, after meals and rinsing too. You will find that these home remedies will make you look and feel amazing. Alongside the appropriate oral hygiene and dental care your smile will continue to look amazing, and it is possible you can avoids poor oral care related diseases down the line.
