Items You Should Never Ever Charge To your Credit Card

Your taxes

Let’s put it this way…if you don’t pay your credit card immediately after putting your taxes on it, you’ll be in much worse shape next tax season. If you owe a few thousand dollars in taxes, and you already have balances on your credit cards, dumping your tax liability on top of it will be bad news in the long run.

If you do claim bankruptcy, your card balances owed to the IRS will not be forgiven. And remember, if you are hard-pressed to pay your taxes, the IRS has options to finance what you owe.
