The Dos and Don’t of Sending Nudes Pictures

We live in a technological age, and sexting or sending nude pics are not an uncommon event. How do you tastefully do this and protect yourself at the same time. Here are some of the top do’s and don’ts for sending nude pics. Rule number one never be raunchy. You can save that for the bedroom.

If you are still determined to send him a pic of your extraordinary derrière then the first thing your need to understand is that there is always the chance of a hack, a scorned lover or some other unimaginable breach like a lost tablet, laptop or phone that gets your pics into the public eye.

Be careful to go about it tastefully and keeping identifying marks, your face and tattoos out of the limelight are pretty good rules of thumb. Also, don’t take an “identifying” photo in the same garments you are taking the “incognito” pictures in. When posting publically together the cat is out of the bag.

It all comes down to protecting yourself and keeping in mind what could happen so you can put the appropriate security measures in place to prevent a compromise of your private pics.

Now that you understand the chances you are taking in sending these compromising photos here are a few good tips to know before sending nude photos.

Do send sexy photos to your partner to let them know they are on your mind.

Don’t send or post nude pictures for someone that you just met or do not know.

Do use platforms like Snapchat, Hangouts or Skype so they cannot save them to their devices. (beware of screenshots with Skype and Hangouts).

Don’t use text, drop box, email, Google Drive or iCloud.

Do send photos of yourself and never a lookalike.

Don’t save then to your devices especially with a shared server.

Don’t send the picture if you are not willing to face the music should it be leaked.

Don’t send photos that can easily identify you as the model.

The main rule is NEVER to send these when you are drinking or otherwise impaired. You get the idea, and it all basically boils down to common sense. Think about going with a sexy almost nude instead of all an out shabam! Leaving something to the imagination can be pretty tantalizing and is far more classy. Again, sending nude pics are not out of the ordinary, and with the right person can be a lot of fun. You still have to consider that there is not much truly private online anymore.

Be tasteful and have fun with the shoot. Find attractive lighting and angles. Be strategic and look at your background. Make sure that you come across as tastefully as possible, and knowing how to work the lighting to your advantage can make all the difference in the outcome and quality of your photos.

This is a fun way to spice up a relationship, add anticipation and tease that special someone. Playing with media is a great tool to make things a lot more interesting, but keeping it for their eyes only should be at the top of your list. Use locked files with password protection if you are editing or saving them. Keeping yourself and your reputation safe is always top priority in a very public and globally connected world.
