Most women that date nerds tend to focus on their negative sides. That is the side that spends long hours online gaming or the side that like to dress up like Frodo in Halloween.
You should instead focus on his other great traits like his intelligence and his ability to remain faithful in the relationship.
Most nerds grew up suffering in the hands on bitchy girls for being themselves. It is time to show him that you are not of those types of girls. It is time to let him know that you like all of him and you are okay with him being himself.
2. Never Attack His Nerdy Tastes
Having a Star Wars poster in your room or reading a comic book all day may look silly to you, but every person has his or her own unique tastes and interest which other people don’t understand. As a non-nerdy guy obsesses with baseball cards and fantasy football, so does a nerd get obsessed with star wars.
Do not belittle or make fun of his tastes to make him feel low. You only send the message the he is not good enough the way he is. Instead, allow him to express his nerdy side he wants. If you are going to love a nerd, you have to accept him for who he is and not try to change him.
