He Shares His Past with You and Wants to Know about Yours
Today work, home, and personal life cannot be differentiated due to growing economic demands. It’s not abnormal to see co-workers taking lunch together and sharing their personal lives with others.

Your boss is not so different, so he may begin to tell you things about his life and wants to know how you’ve been doing as a single girl. He Calls You on the Phone all the Time
He may begin to call you on the phone almost always, especially on weekends and sometimes at night. He would call with no genuine reason in mind, and you start to wonder why the frequent calls. He could call to have a chat with you and nothing more. You should take great care to find out his intentions. When the calls become unbearable, you need to check his calls and put a stop to it. Unless you want to go forward with him, make sure you don’t lead him on by answering the calls and making him think you are interested.
He Showers You with Gifts and Tells You to Keep it Secret
Your boss may promise all members of staff some gifts, and when he sends them, you find that yours is most expensive or more in number than others’.
Then he comes to you to say that the secret should remain between both of you. Even if this is your first experience, you should know that your boss is trying to start a relationship with you. Using gifts is his way of getting your attention and, subsequently, your heart. Like earlier mentioned, do not accept these gifts if you are not interested.
Carefully tell him off if you don’t want him to get the message that you receive his intention. Do this with caution, so you don’t ruin the relationship in the office. He is still your boss remember?
He Often Demands that You Work Late
Only personal assistants are required to stay late with the boss in the office. If you are not his assistant and he demands you work late with only two of you in the office, then he is up to something. He may have invented reasons to keep seeing you or trying to make you notice his advances. Think about the circumstances around his demands and see if it was necessary or not.
He is Usually at Your Desk More Frequent than He Stays in His Office
It doesn’t matter how secure going or relaxed you are; your boss should not use that as a reason to always walk into your office and spend a long while there doing nothing. He has his office and should be there most of the time.
He is just making advances at you and expecting you to get what he is doing. Using his authority as the boss to get close to you doesn’t look fair, but you have no power to refuse his presence in your office without reasons, too. Taking up the issue with him may affect your job if not handled properly and he may accuse you of being paranoid.
