Women often feel the need to fit into the fashion box constructed by the media. Lots of women believe they belong in this fashion sense. They believe the only way they can fit into the society is by wearing the lace front wigs which keeps damaging their hair and hairline. Plenty of women would have been perfectly fine if they go natural instead of wearing lace front wigs that eventually damages their hair. Unfortunately most of these women do not know the amount of damage caused by these wigs. And those who know about the damage, simply ignore the outcome.

It is possible for these wigs to have an adverse effect on your health however if you aren’t willing to stop using the lace front wig then you can possibly reduce the damage these wigs can cause. Here’s how to reduce the damage.

TO REDUCE THE DAMAGE;

Ensure that the wig is made of original human hair not fake and not synthetic hair because it can lead to skin allergy and irritation for people with quite sensitive skin. To stop these irritation or skin allergy probably caused by the glue, stop using it too often. You can keep the wig on for at least a week and make sure you don’t re-apply the glue until it has been completely taken off. This is because the glue itself is made of various harsh chemicals and these chemicals cannot be avoided while using the lace front wig.

Another way is for you to keep the wig on and don’t take it off not until your hair needs to be washed or trimmed. Also be very patient when it comes to removing the lace front wig from your head. You wouldn’t want to rip your skin off. So just carefully peel it, slowly trying not to peel off more hair than necessary.

Also you can simply alternate between using a glue and a tape to secure your wig. This is because, a wig isn’t really advisable at all times so try to alternate. Make sure you don’t use lace front wigs for long periods of time like 6 months or over 6 months. This is because leaving the lace front wig up until this period, can damage your hair.

However all the above listed, can only reduce the effects of the damage done by lace front wigs.
