I had sex with my co-worker, Now what?

Working is one way or the other our way of life. You may be working in a school, library, coffee shop, restaurant, fast food joint, universities, etc… it is something that we do to collect wages/salary. So working enables us to carry on with the way of life that we both need. Through work, we can bear the cost of the conveniences that bring us satisfaction and likewise it gives us a feeling of self-esteem in realizing that we can accommodate ourselves and our families. Here and there work can associate us to our actual importance throughout everyday life and open the ways to our life’s motivation. On different occasions, work can turn out to be one of our driving force to living a fulfilled life.

So you had sex with a colleague, what do you do straight away? Obviously, I’m here to give you a few pointers on what to do once you’ve gone too far and engaged in sexual relations with an associate.

1. Unwind

Before you go insane into a frenzy and extraordinary uneasiness, take a full breath and unwind. Having sex with a co-worker isn’t as remarkable or forbidden as you may see it. If you ever end up in this kind of circumstance simply unwind and pursue relaxation because trust me, the first thing that comes to your mind after this is probably fear. So you could simply take a few days off and unwind.

2. Face it!

After you’ve returned from your brief vacation and got an opportunity to inhale and loosen up, then the next step for you to take is to think deliberately and really calculate the dangers of what this implies for your workplace. No one needs an antagonistic or inconvenient workplace. You actually need to talk about it with the co-worker. The sex you had with your co-worker could actually bring you both together and could bloom into a lovely relationship and it could also destroy your friendship or co-worker relationship and it may be inconvenient for you to see that co-worker flirting with another person after you’ve both had sex and you haven’t talked about it. So have a chat with him/her either in a park or wherever just let it be away from work.

3. Be Straightforward and Direct

Being straightforward and direct about how you feel and how you might want to take the whole situation would determine if you would remain in that work or not. And it would also determine if what you both had could blossom into something lovely. So while you both find a quiet place to talk about this, ensure that you are straightforward never leaving any stone unturned.

4. Set Limits

in order to keep everything up and going for you to feel comfortable while working with your co-worker during work hours, ensure you keep personal issues away from work. Set limits/boundaries and define them. concentrate on your job and the duties you have to dispense because this will also help prevent you from having awkward moments with your co-worker.

4. Get over the disgrace and keep your expectation alive.

The thing is, nobody knows what’s in store or what’s to come. I’ve seen some lovely relationships and connections start as a less than ideal sentimental work experience. Consider it along these lines, we invest our energies with these individuals and spend time with them, these can be a formula for an effective relationship. I’m not saying you will dependably get a lovely relationship at the end, what I’m saying is, if the sex doesn’t mean anything to you or your co-worker, just get over it and keep your hope alive who knows, you might find someone else who would stir your boat.

Finally, just ensure you both settled the issue so it wouldn’t escalate and leave you with no option than to leave your workplace. In any case, having sex with a co-worker can be something you can either try or avoid. Try not to go ballistic! You got this champ! I have confidence in you!
