Let’s face it, in this day and age having unprotected sex is one of the most stupid things you could do. Sexually transmitted diseases are on the increase especially A.I.D.S and H.I.V! As a woman forget getting pregnant, you should be more worried as to whether or not you’ll be alive to see the baby grow up if you’ve caught something. Unfortunately people don’t walk around with t-shirts saying “I’VE GOT AN STD!” That would be great, but unfortunately they don’t, you can’t look at someone and tell they are a carrier regardless of how clean or dirty they look. You will be shocked at the amount of people living with H.I.V and no one would ever know. Everyone messes up, sometimes things can just get out of hand and before you know it, well…….. it’s just too late! And it’s not until the deed is done that you come to your senses and realize that you could have put your life in danger. Here are some of the terrifying thoughts we all have after unprotected sex.
Am I Pregnant?
Obviously men don’t have to worry about this but women do. If you have had a random one night stand with someone you wouldn’t dream about having a kid with, pregnancy could be a pretty terrifying prospect. You were probably drunk, didn’t even get his number and it’s pretty likely that you will never see him again. Even though it might be for the best, your poor child will never know who his father is. What would you tell him, you were a mistake? Mommy had an accident? Women probably fear pregnancy more than an STD and the first thing they do is run to the clinic and get the morning after pill before getting tested for diseases.
She Smelt a Bit Funny!
What if she had something? She didn’t smell normal, what if I’ve got something? She probably did smell normal but now that you are no longer thinking with your other brain you’ve realized that you made a really stupid mistake you’re paranoid and magnifying every last detail. So you should be, maybe the fear will prevent you from making the same mistake twice.
He Had a Bump Down There
So if you noticed it, why did you even go there? Whether it was or whether it wasn’t, the plain fact of the matter is that there are some risks that you just don’t take. A bump could mean anything, herpes, genital warts and that’s not a disease you want to get. If you put your mouth on it and you notice some unsightly bumps around your mouth in the next couple of days, I really do feel sorry for you!
Have I Fulfilled All my Dreams?
No this isn’t an extreme thought, if you have caught A.I.D.S it could be a very real reality. There are some STDs that will just cause you to suffer for the rest of your life and there are some that will kill you. If you are told that you’ve caught the killer disease, now is the time to start working towards all those dreams you’ve been procrastinating over.
I’ll Never Know my Kid!
For men who often have unprotected sex with random women, it must be a scary prospect to know that you could have a load of mini versions of yourself running around the country and you will never know who they are.
I’ll Never Find my Dream Man
If the unthinkable does happen and you do end up pregnant, the number one fear for most women is that they’ll never get married with a baby. Yes it is true that the majority of men don’t want to raise another man’s child. However, there are some rare gems out there who will take on you and your ten kids if he loves you enough.
What if he Tells Everyone?
Unfortunately we still live in a world where double standards prevail. A man gets a pat on the back for sleeping with 20 women in a week and a woman gets called a “Slut!” It’s not fair but it’s the way of the world. There are some men who feel they have to prove their manhood and will run around town telling everyone who he slept with. He doesn’t stop there, he also has to give the details and tell everyone how you gave him oral sex and then let him stick you without any protection! Now you have to walk around with your head hung in shame!
Final Thought
The plain fact of the matter is that having unprotected sex is like playing Russian roulette with your life. You don’t know which bullet is going to kill you but you know that one of them will. To avoid this, I would suggest that you carry protection with you at all times, better yet, stop having sex with random people and find yourself a committed partner who isn’t going to jeopardize your health.
