What to do if you and your bestie like the same man

First off, it is very normal for two friends to end up liking the same man but it all depends on how both friends handle the situation. There’s a cute guy you have been crushing on for some time now and you get all mushy and excited about the whole thing however when you tell your bestie about it because you always tell each other your secrets and when she gets to know, she acts all sad and disappointed and before you know it, she probably starts acting weird and distant from you and finally you get to find out that, she also likes the same man you like! Now how do you bargain with that? What do you do?

Let me show you what to do. First off;

  • Assess your friendship.  How close are you and your bestie? How long have you know each other and how would you rate your friendship/companionship? Is your friendship really worth losing a man over? Because I have seen situations like this turn out extremely bad that you won’t address each other anymore. So have a rethink, is the man you both love worthy enough for you to have a chance with him? If not, let him go.
  • Have a heart -2- heart discussion; the next best thing after assessing your friendship is to have a genuine chat with your bestie. The most noticeably bad thing you could do is endeavor to imagine things are ordinary! Have a genuine chat with your companion.  Don’t just start with yelling at each other because you are not having a conversation if you do that. So just talk with kindness. You can just locate a calm spot, similar to a seat outside or a relaxed eatery, garden for both of you to meet. Be straight to the point about your emotions and enable her to express everything, as well. Advise her precisely what you’re feeling for this person and request her to do likewise. To what extent does she like him? To what extent do you like him? Have both of you started dating him?
  • Give the ‘man’ a chance to choose. Before you both finish your discussion,  you both should conclude that one of you ought to almost certainly have him, consent to give him a chance to keep both of you from contending over him. But you and your bestie should never get into a challenge to see who will win the man. Instead, the man should be the one to seek whom to go after and it most probably might not be both of you. Give him a chance to take the necessary step on whom he is keen on. He will certainly make that obvious. So concentrate on fixing your friendship and assure your bestie that a man cannot destroy what you’ve both built.
  • Try not to act according to your feelings.  If the man eventually picks or show interest in your bestie, then try not to take it out on her. remember that you both have reached a consensus that only one of you could have him. However, it is important for you to note that even if the man picks you, it is possible that the relationship might not last. So keep in mind that there are a large number of men out there that you would like and would like you back.

However, regardless of what happens, your bestie should even now be your best companionship. Even if you both have consented to drop him, fantastic! And even if he picks her over you, great! Don’t let it trouble you. Be cheerful and genuinely happy for her. In fact, you could probably go on vacations or outings with friends to keep your mind away from it. Whatever the decision, cement your friendship by having some ladies time. Arrange a marvelous sleepover/slumber party with, popcorn and facials. Or then again go out to lunch and pay for her treat. Paint each other’s nails, have an excursion, travel to the lake—whatever both of you want to do together. It might appear stereotypical, yet whatever you do, do it because of affection for your bestie. All things considered, she was there before this person, and you need her to be there after him, as well.
